A brisk 27 degrees at the start, but very quickly the temperature rose as the 24 BMW cars and 36 driver/navigators arrived ready for a great two and a half tour of the northern countryside.
Prior to starting the Tour, SEWICKLEY BMW hosted an hour 1/2 “Question & Answer” session with complimentary Bagels, Donuts, Cookies and HOT Coffee!
Chuck Frances, Sales Manager, & Ayrton Mutagaana – Sales Rep SEWICKLEY BMW fielded questions from all BMW Touring participants. Answers to questions regarding Winter prep, regular oil changes, warranty items and more were discussed in detail to the delight of all.
After the session, the “Last Drive of the Year” began with 3 groups of BMW models in constant radio communication by each Group Leader (right & Left turns) and responding communication by the Group Sweeper keeping each group together.
The “Last Drive of the Year” ended at SUNNY JIM’S, a great restaurant 255 Camp Horne Rd., Emsworth, Pa (a local landmark established in 1934)… with Great Food Selections and equally great prices.
We’re looking forward to the 2022 driving season. The Allegheny/bmwcca is planning many new destinations with twisty countryside touring drives next year.
