Please join us on November 4, 2023, for our Last Drive of 2023 as we make our way on rural highways to the Flight 93 Memorial.
Our day will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Bobby Rahal BMW in Canonsburg for a BMW Q&A session. Morning refreshments including juice, coffee and Danish will be provided, thanks to the awesome team at Rahal! If you have specific BMW questions, you can email them to me ahead of time at [email protected], and I’ll pass them on to Rahal BMW so they can include them in the Q&A.
We will begin our tour at around 10:30 a.m., and have a Rest Stop a little over an hour into the drive in the Mt. Pleasant/Donegal area. Forty minutes later we will be in Somerset, PA for lunch at Rey Azteca, a great Mexican restaurant. At around 1:45 p.m. we will make the final 25 minute trek to the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville. The Memorial has many interactive exhibits that honor the 40 fallen heroes of United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.
The drive will take about 3.5-4 hours, including the Rest Stop and lunch, and will be a mix of Spirited and Leisurely driving. Due to the restaurant size, the tour is limited to 24 cars and 30 total people. The cost is $15 per car driver’s fee. Lunch will be at your expense at the restaurant. The Flight 93 Memorial admission is free. Registration closes 10/28/23 at midnight.
