Join us on November 3rd for the 5th Annual Last Drive of the Year. It promises to be the best one yet.
We depart from McDonalds at 235 Meadowlands Blvd in Washington at 9:00. (Driver meeting at 8:50.) After a short stint on I-70, we’ll head south on country roads to Monongahela Twp. (Ever heard of it?) Then we have some very interesting roads to take us west to Moundsville, WV for lunch.
After lunch we’ve arranged a 90 minute guided tour of the West Virginia Penitentiary at 2:00 (http://wvpentours.com/).
After we break out of prison, we have a great drive on incredible WV-88 to Independence, PA for a leisurely buffet dinner at Breezy Heights Tavern.
The cost to register is $40, which covers the penitentiary tour and dinner at Breezy Heights.
Lunch is on your own, with several choices available in the Moundsville area…
