The PVGP races through Schenley Park are considered by many drivers to be the most challenging race course worldwide. With 22 turns, 11 elevation changes, approximately 100 telephone poles, an expanse of stone wall and numerous manhole covers, it’s no wonder the 2.33-mile circuit tests driving skills and entertains crowds.
The best place to watch the races is from the 456 acre Bob O’Connor Golf Course where the Grand Prix stages its International Car Show. There are dozens of sponsor tents, a Vendor Village along with food and refreshments. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix was established in 1983 as a charity event and always will be. In order to continue making a significant donation to our charity partners, we are now requiring a $5 donation from spectators that walk into the Race Weekend in Schenley Park. Anybody entering in a vehicle as a participant will be given a wristband for the weekend. Volunteers do not need to make a donation.
