Many of you hear PVGP and think Schenley Park but there is another weekend that happens before Schenley Park that is just as thrilling! Brett Sutton, our BMW Club Racing Coordinator with the help of Rahal Racing host a hospitality area right in the middle of the BMW paddock. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and talk with the drivers or just to find a little shade from the sun. A short walk up to the top of Spectator Hill and you will find yourself in the best spot for a bird’s eye view of the races right where the north track meets the south. The track is 2.8 miles long with 19 corners and can be conquered by some of our BMW Club Racers in under 2 minutes. The north track (the older of the two) is getting a fresh coat of paving so you can better believe that it will make for some exciting races this year. Schenley Park is the highlight of this ten-day event we all call the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix but the racing starts here at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex with the Historics.
