Allegheny Chapter

The Allegheny Chapter of the BMW Car Club

Give your Car Boy or Car Girl the gift of a Lifetime.

The BMW Club of America Trillium and Allegheny Chapters will host a High Performance Drivers Education (HPDE) School at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex on Sept 14-16. The school will cater to all experience levels: novice, intermediate, advanced and solo students. All participants will receive expert, personalized, one-on-one instruction sessions both in-car on-track and in the classroom. Typically, each run group of students goes through four 30-minute rotations of each type of session per day – which makes for a very varied and engaging event. This school is intended to be exciting, highly educational and lots of fun!

The school will be the Allegheny Chapter’s first HPDE in over twenty years. We are partnering with the Trillium chapter of the BMW CCA. The Trillium Chapter is located in Ontario Canada. Our chapter relationship has grown over the years with the Trillium chapter as a result of our involvement hosting the Annual PVGP BMWCCA Club Race. Through the years, numerous members from their chapter would participate in the races and our friendship developed. BMWCCA Club Race Board Member, Club Race participant and Trillium Chapter member Isi Papadopoulos, presented his idea a few years ago about a joint venture. His goal was to help us reestablish our HPDE program and share this great track we have in our back yard.

The event depends on pre-registration. If we have sufficient deposits by December 31, 2019 from the participants, we will contract with the track to pay a large non-refundable deposit, and together we will book the dates. If we do not have sufficient deposits, the Clubs will inform the track that we will not be going in September and your deposit will be refunded.

The HDDE will be held on the full 2.8 mile 19 corner Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum Pa. All participants will enjoy a welcome reception on Monday evening September 14, 2020. Additionally, participants will receive a commemorative shirt.

Our Monday school is reserved for solo students and instructors only.

Cost is $500 per person. Mondays Instructor school is $100;
