The Allegheny Chapter has a reputation for its warm hospitality and many believe that the BMW tent is the best place to watch the races as the racers enter the golf course after sprinting up the hill to turn #13.  You do not have to be a member of the BMW CCA to join us for lunch or take part in our activities in Schenley Park! SUMMARY:PVGP Historic Races - Pitt Race
DESCRIPTION:This weekend has been appointed as one of the national events\, for CCA Club Racing; the Allegheny Chapter will be hosting a BMW CCA VIP tent and car corral at a new location overlooking turn 1 and the new South Track. All BMW club racers\, crews\, and BMW club members are welcome to attend.    The coral will host driver meetings and be the place where centralized information pertaining to the weekend race events and up to the minute race results will be maintained. It will be furnished with food and beverages for the drivers\, crews and club members. The area will be centrally located near Turn 1 for all of the crews to have easy access to. We will also have a BMW only car corral right next to the VIP area.  The area should offer excellent views of the new South Track  For those of you that have never been to a club race\, this is a great opportunity to experience “no rev-limiter” racing at its best.   Cost for Club Members for lunch is only $10 per day in addition to track entry of $15 per day. \nAll lunches include coleslaw\, chips\, and a cookie. \nChoices include (Please note your choice upon registration) \nTurkey \nRoast Beef \nHam \nChicken Salad \nThere will also be refreshments and munchies available at no charge throughout the entire weekend.

DESCRIPTION:Reduce the competitive aspects of getting into racing. Start with the basics alongside other ladies wanting to do the same. Your vehicle’s make and model won’t make a difference. Pitt Race will stand by you every step of the way\, just come ready to learn. \nLearn the art of driving fast in a safe and controlled environment. After classroom instruction\, you’ll train with a Pitt Race instructor in your own car. The goal is to apply what you learn in class to develop your skills behind the wheel as you experience the range of your car’s performance. \nThis special event is a Ladies Only Performance Driver Education! Get a group together and make a day out of the event or come by yourself\, ready for an exciting day to tell all of your friends about. We welcome everyone to Pitt Race for our typical PDE sessions throughout the rest of the season\, but this one is just for the ladies. \nAs an added bonus\, join lead instructor Carol Neal for a brief lunch & learn session on driving tips and techniques for staying safe on the road. There are NO afternoon PDE solo sessions. Following a short break after the PDE\, you’ll start your lunch while important topics are discussed. Topics include: \n\nFlat tire? – Consider these options!\nThings to look for before you turn the key\nHow can I safely stop if the brakes fail?\nAnd more.\n\nLunch & Learn is included for the registered driver.  It will begin at approximately 12:45 following the PDE. \nTo register for ONLY the Lunch & Learn the cost is $10 (does not include participation in PDE). \nCost: $225 per driver \nClass begins at 8:15. Groups 1 & 2 will include three 25-minute sessions on track with our instructor\, plus two classroom sessions. Last driving session ends at 12:30.  Lunch and Learn (included) will begin immediately after the last on track session concludes.  The event concludes by 1:45 pm.

DESCRIPTION:2016 Spring Drive is Saturday May 14th with an optional overnight stay.\nThe group will be assembling at the Marriott in Cranberry\, 100 Cranberry Woods Dr\, Cranberry Township\, PA 16066 \n\nUPDATE:  Check in and registration will begin at 10:00 AM with a brief drivers meeting at 10:20 AM departing at 10:30 AM – Placing our arrival time between 12:30 PM and 12:45 PM at the Auto Museum in Cleveland. \nOnce we arrive in Cleveland\, we will enjoy a nice lunch provided by the Museum and begin our tour shortly after. \nWe had originally planned to have two routes: one straight highway and one which avoided the highway and was a little more for “spirited driving”.  However\, due to the possibility of inclement weather on Saturday\, it has been decided to stick to one route for all members so we are all together. \n\nThe driving tour this year will take us to Cleveland\, Ohio. Destination; The Western Reserve Historical Society and a tour of the Crawford Auto Museum. \nWe will have a one hour guided tour of the Crawford Auto Museum\, followed by free time to enjoy at your leisure more of the auto museum or any of the other exhibits at The Western Reserve Historical Society http://www.wrhs.org/about/ and a ride on the historical Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel. \nAdvance registration is required at Motor Sport Reg with a fee of $20 per person payable at the time of registration. The $20 fee includes general admission to The Western Reserve Historical Society for the day and a boxed lunch on the grounds prior to the guided tour. DESCRIPTION:Second Annual Dust-off Drive – Saturday\, April 16th 2016\nWe will start the day by gathering in the parking lot outside of Panera Bread in Settler’s Ridge.  Coffee will be ready at 9:30 AM and we will depart at 10:15 AM after a brief driver’s meeting.  The drive will take us to the heart of Mingo Creek County Park in Finleyville. \nAfter a brief stop to stretch your legs\, it is on to our final destination of Salatino’s River House for our 1:00 PM lunch reservation.  Established in 2008\, the River House Cafe is located in the Historic District of Charleroi\, PA.
