SUMMARY:Autocross Session 2
DESCRIPTION:The Allegheny Chapter is proud to announce the return of the “PITT Race- Allegheny Chapter Autocross Series”. Held at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum\, Pa this low key series will consist of six (6) autocross sessions\, with a start date of May 13th (immediately following the Allegheny Chapters “Introduction to Autocross” program). The Series first session starts at 12:00 pm. The remaining dates are; June 10\, July 16\, August 12\, September 10 and October 7. \nAny chapter member who signs up for the series will receive a $60 discount from PITT Race and a $24 discount from the Allegheny Chapter. If you can’t commit to the series you can attend on individual dates and pay the non-discounted amount of $40 as you play.  Helmets are required and can be rented from PITT Race. Individuals only need to attend three out of six events to be considered for class winners depending on if there are enough cars within your class.

DESCRIPTION:The drive departs at 1:00 PM from the McDonalds just off of I-79 in North Strabane.  We head south on I-79 to Washington and then west on I-70 to Claysville.  (Boring!)  Then we drive south to East Finley Park for our first stop\, a photo opportunity at the classic covered bridge in the park. \nAfter our pictures we head back north on some twisty roads to West Middletown\, where we stop at Breezy Heights Tavern for snacks\, soft drinks\, and a bio break.  We’ll be in a private room but everyone needs to take a peek at the main dining room…. \nAfter our break we head north again on some leisurely roads to Ambridge.  Then we wind our way up through Cranberry to Domenico’s Ristorante for dinner. DESCRIPTION:During the summer of 2016\, the USS Tower in downtown Pittsburgh is hosting Car Shows on the Plaza\, featuring car clubs from the area… To date; Corvette\, Mustang\, Mercedes and Jaguar. \nAlso a variety of vehicles participating in the 2016 Vintage Grand Prix car shows will be on display at the USS Plaza and throughout downtown Pittsburgh on Wednesday July 11th. \nThe Allegheny Chapter has been invited to participate in the 2016 plaza car show series on Friday August 5th to feature BMW. \nThe August 5th car show is on the plaza at USS Tower from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm while arrival and staging at begin at 9:00 am. \n10 to 12 (or more) BMWs from the Allegheny Chapter are needed for participation. \nIf you are interested in showing your BMW on the plaza and “talking BMW and Allegheny Chapter” from 10 to 2\, perhaps generating some interest in BMW and The Allegheny Chapter as well\, please sign-up by clicking HERE.
