Dear Members of the BMW CCA – Allegheny Chapter,
It is with deep regret that we are announce the resignation of George Snyder, President, from the board of the Allegheny Chapter. He is resigning for personal reasons, and has asked that we respect his privacy on the matter.
George dedicated 4 years of his life to leading our chapter. He became president of the chapter in 2015, and continued to give his best as our leader. During his tenure, the Allegheny Chapter was awarded international Car Club of the Year in 2016. In addition, the Chapter grew its contributions to charity year over year, maintaining the number one position among US Chapters. The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Charities continue to recognize the Chapter as a leading event contributor, at an increasing annual rate.
On behalf of the Members of the BMW CCA – Allegheny Chapter, we look forward to his continued participation in chapter events and contributions towards moving the chapter forward.
The board has appointed Gary Sefcik, current vice president, to lead the chapter as president through the balance of the term. Within the next three months a call for nominations will be announced. If anyone has interest in being elected, and would like to better understand the associated responsibilities, we encourage you to contact any officer for their insight.
